Our hotel would not be the same without him: The lake Poschiavo. Even this village, formerly called “Meschino”, has changed its name to honor and pay tribute to him. Bernina Red Train

A red thread that connects Switzerland to Italy via Miralago. A train that let us travel back in time and let us be kids again. Since 1910 the red Bernina train has completed the Poschiavo lake and has become indispensable ever since. A faithful and constant companion on your holiday in our Albergo Miralago. You can watch it pass by slowly during the day and at night it retreats, waiting for a new dawn.
Take the opportunity to travel on the Regio Express, open the door of our Albergo and get on board for a new adventure. On its way you can get off at the stops you like best and lastly disembark at the final stop: St.Moritz. Each guest has his or her own experience: culture, nature, hiking, mountain biking, trekking… and what do you choose?

Hiking and biking

A jump into the green of our mountains. No matter if you go by foot or on two wheels – this experience should not be missing from your holiday memories.
You can find two hundred and fifty kilometers of hiking trails in Valposchiavo. Choose between record-breaking climbs to reach the medieval church of San Remigio from the lakeshore, or gentler trails which are suitable for everybody – like Val di Campo or Val Viola. Almost downhill gravel roads, along the railroad line of the Trenino del Bernina, or alpine passes for racing bikes – just the way we like it! Gentle walks, nature trails, nature parks – like the Cavaglia Glacier Garden, surrounded by flowers, colors and scents of fir and larch trees. We are sure you, it will be love at first sight for you!
